The 2026 NETA schedule features several sessions specifically curated to support accessibility, differentiation, and student engagement:
Assistive Technology & Accessibility: Gain hands-on experience with the latest tools that break down barriers for students with IEPs and 504 plans. The accessibility playground will be available on both Thursday and Friday.
Inclusive Instructional Design: Learn how to leverage technology to implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles across all grade levels.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Discover platforms that streamline progress monitoring and help teachers more effectively track and report on IEP goals.
Neurodiversity & Digital Equity: Participate in sessions focused on supporting students with autism, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges in a digital-first environment.

We are excited to offer an educational and interactive professional development workshop on April 17, 2026, led by Dr. Luke McConnell.
Workshop 1 (9:00-12:00):
Differential Diagnosis and Case Conceptualization in Special Education: Improving Identification and Intervention
Workshop 2 (1:00-4:00):
School-Based CBT: Practical Approaches for Intervention and Support
This comprehensive workshop will focus on strengthening participants’ ability to accurately differentiate between overlapping conditions in special education and develop effective, individualized case conceptualizations. In addition, attendees will gain practical tools for implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies within school environments to better support student mental health and learning outcomes.
